ITINERARY

DAY 1: FRIDAY 23 OCTOBER, 2020.

Fly Brisbane/Melbourne.

Passengers will assemble at the Group Check-in counter at Brisbane Domestic airport at a designated time. You will board your Qantas flight bound for Australia’s Racing Capital – Melbourne. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Victoria Hotel.

Tonight is Manikato night at Moonee Valley and you will be transferred to the races at Moonee Valley for a fabulous night of racing. Your package includes admission only as there is ample under covered seating available on the Friday night.

After the races, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

DAY 2: SATURDAY 24 OCTOBER, 2020.

The Cox Plate is widely regarded as the greatest Weight for Age race in the World. Some of the great winners include Wynx, Sunline, Makybe Diva, Might & Power, Saintly and right back to the legendary Gunsynd.

Today commences with a transfer to Moonee Valley where you will have reserved Grandstand Seats in the Inner Circle section of the Racecourse. From here you will have easy access to all bar and catering facilities and an on course bookmaker and tote.

After the races, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

DAY 3: SUNDAY 25 OCTOBER, 2020.

After two days of Group One racing, it is time for a day of leisure and you may like to take in one of the many shows that are on offer during the spring carnival.

DAY4: MONDAY 26 OCTOBER, 2020.

This week is the final build up to the Melbourne Cup and you will have the opportunity to attend many different functions.

DAY5: TUESDAY 27 OCTOBER, 2020.

There are many day tours available to the Melbourne visitor and already many special guests are arriving in Melbourne in anticipation.

DAY6: WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER, 2020.

One of the lead ins to the Melbourne Cup is the “BENDIGO CUP” which is run today. Whilst not included in the package, you may like to take the train from Spencer Street Station to Geelong for today’s big event.

DAY7: THURSDAY 29 OCTOBER, 2020.

The last of your free days before preparing for the biggest week in racing you will ever see.

DAY 8 FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER, 2020.

The larger part of the group will arrive on their respective flights from all over Australia for the mighty “MELBOURNE CUP”.

Tonight at 7.30pm, we will all assemble in the Swanston Room for a Meet & Greet introduction. Light savouries will be supplied and it gives you an ideal opportunity to meet your fellow passengers.

DAY 9: SATURDAY 31 OCTOBER 2020.

“AAMI VICTORIA DERBY DAY”

Any racing connoisseur will tell you that there is no day’s racing like AAMI Victoria Derby Day at Flemington. You start the day with a transfer to Flemington by luxury coach and proceed to your reserved Seat. This seat is yours for the next three days. From this seat, you will enjoy the racing highlights of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

On completion of the day, your Coach will return you to your Hotel.

DAY 10: SUNDAY 1 NOVEMBER, 2020.

“DISCOVER MELBOURNE”

Sunday is usually regarded as a Day of Leisure,  however that does not mean there is nothing to do. A day trip to the St. Kilda beachside or a visit to the famous MCG or maybe the Jazz Dinner night at the Emerald Hotel. You may prefer to take one of the Legends Optional Extra tours today.

DAY 11: MONDAY 2 NOVEMBER, 2020.

“CUP EVE LUNCHEON”

Melbourne Cup Eve and let the party begin. Your day commences at noon with the Lexus Melbourne Cup Parade, which proceeds up Swanston Street, just 50 metres down the hill from your hotel.

After the parade, we proceed to the Swanston Room for our now famous Melbourne Cup Luncheon. Hear the latest informative with prices etc at the Luncheon and you may just find that elusive winner.

DAY 12: TUESDAY 3 NOVEMBER, 2020.

“LEXUS MELBOURNE CUP DAY”

Today’s race will stop the nation and you are lucky enough to be a part of this great spectacle. Once again, the luxury coach will transfer you to

Flemington and just like Saturday, your reserved seat awaits you. On completion of the day, you will be returned to your hotel.

DAY 13: WEDNESDAY 4 NOVEMBER, 2020.

“KYNETON RACEDAY”

For the real enthusiast, you may wish to make your way to Kyneton for the running of the Kyneton Cup. This is a very long day so if you’re a bit tired, may we suggest you visit any of the City attractions that await you or you may prefer to take one of the Legends Optional Extra tours.

DAY 14: THURSDAY 5 NOVEMBER, 2020.

“KENNEDY OAKS DAY”

Kennedy Oaks day – the ultimate style day is a glamorous event with all of the latest and some of the not so latest fashions on show. The procedure is exactly the same as Saturday & Tuesday. The luxury coach will once again transfer the group to Flemington and just like before, your same reserved seat is there for you. After the races, it is back to your Hotel for your last night out in Melbourne.

Tonight, the group will gather at 7.30pm in the Swanston Room for our “Farewell Dinner”. A final chance to exchange stories and enjoy a fine Buffet Dinner.

DAY 15: FRIDAY 6 NOVEMBER, 2020.

FLY MELBOURNE BRISBANE

All good things come to an end and you have been lucky enough to be a part of one of Australia’s greatest Race Carnivals. For the last time, your shuttle will transfer the remainder of the group to Tullamarine for our return flight to Brisbane.
