Current owner, Graeme Scheu, is a long standing member of the community and has lived in Goondiwindi since 1976.</strong>Graeme enjoyed a wonderful grounding with the time spent in the Pastoral House – Australian Estates in the early years. It is this grounding that has come to serve him well in fully understanding the needs and requirements of all passengers.In Graeme’s 29 years of trading, Goondiwindi Travel has operated many successful tours. The first was an overseas tour incorporating the Goondiwindi Cricket Team to Singapore. The second was the Goondiwindi Rugby Union team which played and toured the USA. Since those original tours, the concentration has been mainly on racing tours and the flagship tour, the “Melbourne Cup Carnival Racing Tour” led by Clifford Park race caller Pat O’Shea. This tour has grown from 16 passengers in 1991 to now approximately 100 passengers per year.
